Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Watch Dogs to Wii U... But does anybody care?

I care about it, because I care about what they did with the Gamepad. End of story.

(That, and I have to find a way to get my brother hooked to the Wii U I'm getting eventually...)

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'll buy it, it will flop, it will be Ubisoft's fault, Ubisoft will blame Wii U owners

Maybe if they bundle it with Zombie U for $40 total.

because it's a late port?

even if it was release at same time,it wouldn't sell more than 500k LTD.

Nintendo's consoles don't sell third party games unless the game is "family-friendly" or "looks like a nintendo game".

If there is someone to blame here,is nintendo who always had problems with third party games.

No.
That's what they will say. It wouldn't have sold very much, but it could have sold decently. It's entirely Ubisoft's fault for delaying the game 6 months. Ubisoft should know by know you can only gain a support base on a console if you consistently support it. And family friendly? How about Fatal Frame? Zombi U? Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors? Even Metroid isn't that family friendly. For god's sake, Just because they had 1 console that was more family oriented doesn't mean they all are.

Will buy it after a year or so.. when it costs less than 20 euros.

Playing: F1 2016 (PC), Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS4)
Watching: Hajime no Ippo, Attack on Titan (4th time)
Upcoming purchases in October:
-TBD

Well I didn't pick it up on PC either. I usually avoid open world games because they take forever to complete and I don't have much free time these days.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Goldeneye 007. Monster Hunter Tri. Resident Evil 4. COD 3/World at War/Modern Warfare/Black Ops.

I was hyped for the game like everyone else.  Delays happened and I still stayed optimistic.  Then the "U" version was delayed again.  Everyone else has had it for months now, and though meta's score of 80 on ps4 isn't bad at all, it sure doesn't live up to the hype so many of us had for it.  And who knows what the ultimate quality of the "U" version will be?

Am I still excited for the game?  No.  But I've had it pre-ordered for a year now, so I'll still buy it.  It'll sit on my shelf till I'm done with Hyrule and Bayonetta etc etc.   I think D21 hit the nail on the head for all of us "U" owners.  /sigh

Well i'm not really into the kind of game that watchdogs is, but at the time of release i was a little hyped and might have bought it since it's probably the best version with gamepad (at least the game mechanic would allow quiet nice gamepad features).

But since the hype is over and i found more things about the game i don't like, i'm not going to buy it anymore.

And i believe that i'm not the only one thinking this way.

So yes a simultanous release would have sold significantly better than a late port like it is now.
