Disregarding that, a horrendous start for the successor of the PS2.

I guess Japan was still very much into consoles at the time. It was also right after the end of a long recession.
Also lauched with some nice Japanese games including DOA.
I'm surprised the OG XBox eclipsed 100k in it's first week in Japan.

China is not going to be much of a market...they have not done anything more for china then thay have japan/

Focusing how?? They have done nothing for china, the same bad launch games for that market as japan/....Only ms fans think China will be much of a market, chances are wehn pos4 launches it will also outsell x1 there. neither will do well......
