SAN FRANCISCO – September 10, 2014 – Today, Ubisoft announced that record-breaking open-world action game, Watch Dogs, will be available for the Wii U™ system from Nintendo on November 18 in North America.

Watch Dogs will take advantage of the Wii U specific hardware with a detailed and interactive map of Chicago to be displayed on the Wii U™ GamePad. The game also features Off-TV Play, letting gamers continue playing Watch Dogs solely on the Wii U GamePad.

The development of Watch Dogs on Wii U is being led by Ubisoft Bucharest, in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal.

Watch Dogs tells the story of Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. Now on the hunt for those who hurt his family, players will be able to monitor and hack their enemies by manipulating everything connected to the city’s Central Operating System (ctOS). Watch Dogs lets the player use Chicago as their ultimate weapon and exact their own style of revenge.

Watch Dogs is currently available for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC.

Hype = dead. At one point I wanted to buy it day one. Now I wait till it's cheaper. Or maybe it comes to PS Plus for PS3. Will wait a bit longer.

There is absolutely no reason to buy it, it will most likely be full retail, the game isnt very good and even if you buy it Ubisoft already decided to not release any more mature content on the wiiu starting with assassins creed

If the price is more than $30 its being sent to die.

well since 98% of all gamers that wanted it have already bought it on another system this version gonna bomb big time, putting another nail in the coffin for high budget games on Wii-U by 3rd parties.
the hype is gone, everyone pretty much know how good/bad the game is, so there won't be many copies bought by chance this time.

In the end it's "us" Wii-U owners who's gonna get the blame for it as usual.

I have no idea why Ubisoft thought releasing it this late was a good idea..

Its going to be a 60$ game too right? This game will flop we the Nitendo fans will be blamed but, in reality its all Ubisofts fault.

If its still 60$, it can still sell well if it has all the DLC released so far in the disc for free in addition to new gameplay modes and extended single player campaign.

If that were the case Ubisoft is doing a bad job telling us the added content, I see a Mass Effect 3 situation here
