It's pretty much impossible to.  Anybody trying to judge image quality based on streams or youtube are just being a little silly if you ask me...

30fps is choppy, so it's choppy on both... if there are any drops on either you could consider the version with the drops shipped broken.... honestly, an fps at less than 30fps... or even 30fps... we should not have to live with this.

Yeeaaah, i'll wait for DF's comparison. Comparing the IQ of compressed images is a pointless endeavour, and the colour difference seems more like different console settings (something we've seen several times before).

I don't expect to see any notable differences. It's just not worth the hassle for Bundgie.

Guys, u do realize that the images on the left arent correct since the black bars ARENT black?
So, like in the PS3 vs 360 wars, this is something that happend in TV or with the caps.

Well and there i get my next warning: just search for gribblegrunger on n4g. nuff said ;)

The X1 picure is in LIMITED range 16-235
and PS4 is in FullRGB 0-255 range.

You can check "black" in any picture program - even MSPAINT by picking up colour at the up/down borders.
It is 16-16-16 (RGB) and on PS4 side 0-0-0

The same with "white" 235-235-235 vs 255-255-255

So
A) X1 Destiny was GIMPED by Bungie (Sony deal) - not very likely IMHO
B) X1 has a bug
C) Gamingbolt's guys   are LAMERS and DISABLED Full range RGB in X1 options....

D) The are crafty bussinessmen and they are LYING/DOING above  on purpose to GENERATE website hits

And to be precise PS4 version also has some "tinkering" visible - while top is 0-0-0, the bottom part of "black" bar is 7-7-7 (RGB). There is also narrow strip on the whole right edge that is also 7-(~)250 range. Somewhat similar to X360 "intermediate" range setting.

They put some kind of filter on picture and/or messed horribly during capture/montage.

The D) speculation gets a few points extra IMO. Generate flamebait comparison=get hits=make money from ads...

No. A consistent 30 fps isn't choppy. I'll assume he meant the video stream he was watching was jerky.

Based on video from Digital Foundry, Destiny Beta on all platforms had a very solid 30 fps. Even during scenes with a lot of action.

You don't have to live with frame rates of 30 fps or lower. Just don't buy those games. Glad to help you solve that problem.

This is so biased. Yes it IS possible for something to look better on XB1 without money being involved. Having a more powerful console doesn't automatically equal better multiplats.
