Forums - Microsoft Discussion - China is Huge Homies

Is it really that hard to put a comma before "homies" on every title of the threads that you make?

Anyway, as for the source, it doesn't seem that reliable to me. If true, good for MS.

Weren't people saying the pre-orders in Japan were good as well though?

What drugs are you taking? My uncle is a police general, and would like to arrest you for drug abuse.

China is huge, as an economy, in territory and in population. The Chinese console market, however, is tiny... This has all been said before about other consoles, but the fact remains that China and India won't be a factor in the console wars at all, when all is said and done, I full expect the One and other consoles to have sold less than 1/5 of Japanese sales, despite having more than 10 times the population.

The Chinese console market is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Out of curiosity - Toastboy, do you happen to be black?

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

It won't be close to that.

And yes, I know the guy is Asian, shit happens.

Y'see these are the threads we get when there aren't any "real" numbers to be talking about. Not even Pre-orders for the previous week and we should be getting pre-orders for 1st week in September about now. Has everyone got lost in the Bermuda triable or something>

When you have incorrect data, its easy to make predictions that make no sense. JD.com is supposed to have 23% of the market but the preorders at that retailer are only about 600 units. Tmall.com which is supposed to have 50% of the market has less than 1000 units. If you compile a list of all known retailers, which Neogaf has done, total preorders are just over 32k.

Your prediction is dead unless you can explain when the retailer with the top marketshare only has 1000 preorders, but we are supposed to take your 1 million prediction seriously. Its tracking under 50k from all known sources.
