Forums - Politics Discussion - Why do "some" religious groups not accept Same Sex relations, but have no problems with Inter- racial relations?

There are quadrillions and trillions and zadillions of souls out there in the universe, all equally important, yet equally unimportant... Earth is like one of the millions of cells in the human body, a teeny tiny part of the endless and ever expanding entirety that can only be comprehended by accepting incomprehension.
Those who claim themselves to be understanding of the whole, yet become fixated on one h2o mineral are stuck in painful tunnel vision.
All connected by God, The creator, the Source... What a few manic preachers claim to be ultimate truth is nothing but an insignificant fart in the wind compared to what really is out there... The true reality f God and excistence..
To be caught up in hate, discrimination, murder, racism and such low vibrations is a curse inflicted upon themselves, and those who chose to engage in such behaviors must live in the dark inner reality they create for themselves, and walk through the murky hallways of their inner tortured minds for a long time.

Those who chose love, happines, kindnes, sympathy, benevolence, creativity, adventure, fun, are free of such harmful chains that lock the soul to the netherworlds.

Also, it is written somewhere that Religous people are not supposed to be "Gay " ( not trying to be disrespectful for saying this).

So I am assuming, that the only reason any government ever even outlawed same sexes from marrying is because of religous reasons. We pretty much know this.


Can we assume the same for racial problems as well? And if so, then why is one allowed by most Christian Based religions and not the other?

quick answer: Bible mentions homosexuality as a sin and mentions nothing about interracial marriage.

The same reason why some religious groups used to not accept interracial relations, but had no problems with slavery.

I dont know, just had a cigarette and a coffee, and just ranting ;---p.      I believe God, the Creator to love love so to speak. This earth and the souls residing here seem to be so fixated on bad stuff, and putting rach other down, guess it frustrates me..

It is my way of having a detached view on earth, a relatively new perspective... Then again, i believe there are dimensions for everything ;-p and we can visit and go where we want on the souls journey.. Ive had dreams of driving in beautiful landscapes totally free, and even dreamt i was part of a smash fight.. And i believe God the creator is kind, and if certain souls wish to engage in constant negativity, it is their own downfall.. Instead of cherising life, love, adventure, friendship and creativity and so forth.

absolutely agree 

at this point in time our instruments and scientific methods are unable to analyse more than 95% of the universe which we call dark matter/energy

and despite the common scientific notion that material that we can measure is all there is and that its not conscious, quantum physics is now proving that that isn't true at all 

that at the subatomic level consciousness is occuring

 

how anybody can be aware of these things and not realise that we have a very limited understanding of what is going on around us is amazing to me

For the same reasons that I wouldn't marry someone who wasn't a fellow believer today.

You've got to remember, these other races weren't exactly the image of purity, and Solomon was a prime example of what marrying from another culture would do (It wasn't so much race, as culture). He forgot God, and began to worship foreign idols. Today, Christianity (Though at the time it was Judaism.) has spread to multiple cultures, and races, so it's not such a major concern as it was.

I feel like face-palming every time I hear people throw around words like "bigot", and "homophobe" in this context. I don't hate homosexuals, nor am I afraid of them. I do however, believe firmly that the lifestyle they have chosen is wrong. That doesn't give me the right to abuse them, or torment them. They're still God's creations, even if they're living in a sinful lifestyle, just as anyone else living in sin, heterosexually.
