It's not that the site is Nintendo dominated, it's just that Wii U has more big guns announced.

I think you missed what I was going for with that post :P

Yep. It's late and I'm tired and hungry. XD

And just to clarify:

If you made a poll to ask whether the site is Nintendo or Sony dominated, each side will want to say that the other side is bigger (usually), so each will vote for the other.  So if Sony won, I'd use that as evidence that Nintendo are bigger :P

(But realistically, I think both sides are pretty equal.  In terms of regular Most-Wanted voters, though, many more Nintendo fans show up than Sony fans).

Probably have to tweak html to get the colors. Try looking at one of Salnax's old posts and ripping the html code out, then you can plug and chug

Edit: Oh, right, only we can access that.

Here's a pastebin of the colored table html code for the June edition

The flaw in that logic is what would the Xbox clan vote.

Good work Michael-5, and good analysis.

Looks like the new name has hurt "X" as it has fallen in points since E3... or maybe it's just that people has voted more for Bayonetta 2 and Hyrule Warriors.

Thanks again. I think a lot of people were trying to vote for Hyrule Warriors since it's the last month for the game. Zelda probably took a chunk of the votes too.

I'm going to update the platform stuff and pie charts later today Next month this will basically just be a copy/paste job (so long as I don't need to use photobucket for the pie charts), and a little tweak in html for coloured cells. Should come up pretty much the night of, maybe the next day if I'm working late.

why is sunset overdrive listet as shooter,
it´s an action-adventure with guns (you wouldn´t call gta a shooter)

I agree, it was listed as a shooter in the previous month, but I'll change it.

Extended Analysis

Now that EVERYTHING is up, we can see the greater picture, especially since last month.

Platform September (%) August (%) Change (%)
WiiU 32 37 -5
PS4 28 26 +2
XB1 10 11 -1
Vita 9 5 +4
3DS 8 9 -1
PC 7 8 -1
PS3 6 5 +1

SONY IS STEALING EVERYTHING (p.s. % are rounded).

Publisher September (%) August (%) Change (%)
Nintendo 36 45 -9
Sony 15 10 +5
Microsoft 10 8 +2

This is surprising because most of Nintendo's big games are releasing now (Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta, Smash Bros, Pokemon). This miight be a result from an average turnabout, but still this is alarming for Nintendo. Even if the HUGE drop for Nintendo published games is just a random fluctiation from the voters, most of Nintendo's big games do release within the next 2-3 months. So...bad new Nintendo.

Nice extended analysis!

I agree that it is weird that Nintendo has dropped so much in points, specially when taking into account that more people voted in the September feature compared to the August one and for the inminent launch of some of those titles. But that could also be because more Sony/MSoft members voted this month, altering the results.

Pie charts :D Nice.

It will be interesting to see how many Persona 5 votes shift to the PS4.

I compared the market share (%), not by straight voters. So if anything this tells us the extra voters we saw, were all Sony fans. This would make Nintendo's share smaller despite getting the same number of votes.

Well, that could be very possible thinking that Sony has had a lot more presence this past month due to the Gamescon.

And with TGS this month, who knows what results will give this month's poll.
