Movie quality voice-acting has something to do with money, but not entirely.

Alone in the Dark (that 2008 version) has movie quality voice-acting in Spanish (because the English version just simply sucks), and yet that one isn't AAA either. I'd say people just did a good job with the voices there.

I mean, Kiefer Sutherland surely cost a lot of money, but I didn't find his voice in Ground Zeroes to be movie-quality. Everything depends.

?? Nowhere there did he say LBP was NOT AAA he was talking about indies, not LBP..some mental gymnastics here... LBP takes years, a first party AAA developer and publisher to make, and it has AAA production values. It is as AAA adn any other game, I guess mario is not AAA right? The reason that article exists is because of Sony supporting games like LBP. I suggest you read it again.

The studio's first game was the PlayStation 3 title LittleBigPlanet, which was announced and demonstrated at the Game Developers Conference 2007. The plan was always to produce a chart-topping game, but to keep the size of the company as small as possible so as to keep a tight rein on costs.

They didn't have AAA budget.

I might get "Little Big Planet 3" - the rest are a pass for me. I mostly play my Wii U for exclusives. PS4 is my multi-plat machine. That's not to say I won't be all over the new "Uncharted", though. Sony's exclusives just aren't as appealing to me. I going to wish I had an Xbone when "Sunset Overdrive" comes out.
