So long as everyone remains civil, and they're capable of it, I see nothing wrong with this piece, especially since it is fact. The retro talk is pure opinion, though.

nonsense, retro is an endless sea of games, too many to play in a lifetime! xD

More games != better games, though. ;)

That's just assuming that a games bad because it's old, if you take the cumulative releases of all consoles prior to wii/ps3/360, you still end up with more excellent top notch titles than you could ever hope to complete.

can we make listwars bannable? they virtually never spawn anything other than arguments and user bans.

Also, if the "Best place to play" is dictated by number of games, then the best place to play is last gen and retro.

The poll is just tongue in cheek and the list is accurate and objective.

If there's a 5% chance of a game being very good, if you have a pool of thousands vs. a pool of twenty, I think you know who wins.

Unlike most consoles, the ps4 is getting new games every week

Shots fired

OT: The amount of support the PS4 has received has been great.

The Wii U has actually been getting new eShop games every week since E3.

BTW the current number of games on the Wii U is over 200, not including the Japanese expansion packs for MHF and DQX and Virtual Console

ehh See very little "real" exclusives on either list. Both are meh

Tell me when either console has a good list of quality retail exclusives, which is the reason I bought my Xbone and PS4 for, not Indie games. (I like the occasional indie game (Minecraft, No Mans Sky, Ori, and Inside. Making them out to be a big part of the platforms is annoying imo)

Edit: I know No Mans Sky, Ori, and Inside aren't out yet, I listed them because I know they'll end up being good games and games that I buy.

Wii U technically has like 1400+ games. :P

Something something Indies, something something "Moar AAA titles", something something

if the PS4 was only ahead because of Indie games, I'd side with your sentiments. However, all the OP has done is attempt to silence the belief that the X1 has more games than the PS4, be they retail or otherwise.

I'm pretty sure if you removed every game that was also available on the WiiU/PC/PS3/X360 (or just the WiiU if you want to keep it to 8th Gen), every game that is a remaster (all 1 of them), and didn't count indies, the length of both lists would be nigh-identical and short.

Of course PS4 has the most, and currently the highest rated.

The no gaemz argument is pretty old now.
