Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Time Magazine : The One Reason the New Nintendo 3DS Is Going to Crush Competitors

The reason its gonna crush its competitors is cause it doesn't have any direct competition Lolll

But seriously, its gonna sell well cause of the games and bundles more than anything

It has Xenoblade, enough said.

Wait, it's going to crush mobile and tablets because of buttons. Did the old 3DS not have buttons?

What competitors?

What does Nintendo mean by "more powerful". Like 10% more processing power, 50% more processing power? What qualifies as "more powerful".

How many more years will the 3DS last with this "more power".

I mean knowing Nintendo for them more power could just be going from a 1 GigaHrtz processor to a 1.2 GigaHrtz, and going from 64MB of RAM to 72MB. They are absurdly conservative, which is why their systems have been released in deprecated states by 5+ if not 10+ years when they release.

I hate touch screen stuff. That is why I traded my touch screen phone in for an old button phone with multiple letters per button. Not only do I have buttons, but I have to slow text as well.

Go 3DS!

Well, the Vita isn't exactly putting up a fight so technically that's true.
