maybe you need to check the Sony TGS lineup for 2015....

Well it was Peter Moore who wanted to make the Xbox 360 an amazing game console also for Japanese gamers....he went even to Japan to contact people and invested heavily in Japan that lead to games like Lost Odyssey, blue Dragon, Infinite undiscovery, Last Remnant, Project Sylpheed, Dead Rising, Katamari, Ace Combat 6, Magna Carta 2, and so on being exclusive to the system.... Financialy investing in Japan was welcomed by gamers and even lead to a popular Xbox 360 community in Japan..... but then Don mattrick came and he did what the company and stockholders wanted...make money... and investing in Japanese games was like almost finished... Lucky Don left MS and we got Phil Spencer but he had not enough time to do something about it.... I better hope he work hard but i feel it will be hard time to convince people to take the risk because doing what gamers want will cost only money for MS in Japan..

Isn't that lineup MS published games. From my understanding MS received a lot of support from Japanese developers so we probably will see what they will be bringing to the table. I am sure this is only showing what MS is launching in Japan not the total amount of games.

But it seems Microsoft should have waited till they had something to attact the Japanese audience with rather than release a console with absolutely no appeal to its audience. They should have made some Japancentric games for 2015 and appear at TGS 2015. Them not being at TGS this year is extremely stupid especially since their console is launching just weeks after. A Lost Odyessey 2 would be an absolutely nice way to capture that hesitant audience in Japan. Because I really dont think the Japanese hate the Xbox One for being an American console (considering how much they consume every other form of our entertainment and some of our products, this assumptions makes no sense) I just believe the Xbox is too Americanized to appeal to the average Japanese. 

I have seen quite a few second hand Xbox One's in stores here, despite it not actually being out yet, one was a US day one edition, the rest were EU/US standard Kinect bundles.

The day 1 edition that's been in my local store, has been in there since last year, and is priced more or less 4,500 yen cheaper than the console will launch for locally here.

Makes me lol every time I see it.
