Forums - Gaming Discussion - Best Android Apps for ex-Apple user?

Was the switch to Android a good idea?

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions regarding their favorite Apps from the android store. I just got an Android phone last weekend after 2 years with an iPhone, so I'm excited but a bit lost. Music, Life planner, games, pictures, social, any types of apps will do.

The first two apps you need to download are Nova launcher and Pushbullet.

For keyboards I recommend SwiftKey.

Muzei is great for wallpapers and Flatee is a great icon pack to use with nova

It seems you aren't getting much help here.

Send me a PM if you have any questions. It took me a few weeks to get used to the change from iOS to Android but once you get used to it you'll never want to go back.

What phone did you get.If it is a fast one I recomand:

Shadowgun:Deadzone ( Very good fps shooter which is free )
Swiftkey ( A much better keyboard than the stock android one, download if the phone is fast only though )
Any messaging apps which you use Facebook, outlook, facebook massanger and Skype.
Clean Master ( Needed to keep that cache low )

Some tips:
If you really want the Flappy Bird game or some paid apps free search for the apk of that app.
Remove all those widgets they are useless and slow down your phone.
Root it if you are into overclocking or checking out the frame rate in games.

Hope you enjoy your new android phone.

Welcome to the Android Domination!!!!! Apple is the biggest Enemy so great lol.

Anyway, useful:
Candle - it's pointless but awesome
Flashlight - when you need to see in dark
QR Code Scanner - .... self explanotary.
Daily Smash Bros.Screen - pic of the days in your hand + stuff.
Ringtone/Wallpaper apps.
Viber - if you have free internet then.......you can call and text for free from there.

GEOMETRY DASH LITE! Most Indie- like game I found.

Wouldn't it mostly be the same apps as you'd get on an iPhone?

I never would have guessed that poll would be 100% yes, what a surprise!
