I will take any/all 2D/3D Mario, since even the 'bad' ones are better than 90% of games released.

I would rather them take a break to freshen things up and work on other IPs. But, if they released one, I'd play the hell out of it. I didn't get the ^___________^ feeling from NSMB2 and U that I got from NSMB and NSMB Wii, but they're still fantastic platformers.

New 2D Mario next gen? Absolutely. NSMB-anything? Definitely. Just look at the jump between the original Super Mario Bros. to Super Mario Bros. 3 to Super Mario World to the original NSMB. That's what this next on needs to be.

It would surprise me if they did for Wii U. But I would think another is a virtual certainty for either 3DS or the nextendo console.

They probably released it too soon in the generation though, should have been a year 3 title.

I would say not right now or anytime soon. I think they've done enough of the 2D Mario's and as much as I enjoy them, it'd be nice for them to allocate their time differently (Mario Strikers PLEASE!!!)

Please no (for this gen). I'll gladly take HD Wii U remasters/remakes of 64, Sunshine, or the Galaxy games over any new NSMB games.

Yes. But they need to change the engine to something more in the vein of Super Mario 3D World... Have lots of characters with different abilities like Peach, Rosalina, even Wario... More baddies, take out the Koopalings. Have new thematics for the worlds. More inspired music, just like the soundtrack of Tropical Freeze.

But the most important of all: Take out that awful "New" in the title.

Can't Mario just have a break? For the love of god he needs one.
