More rumble would mean more battery, and people consider Wii U pro controller so much because of the battery.

About the analog triggers: this would mean a revision on the gamepad too, and i'm betting nintendo is not willing to make this big change in a so expensive controller.

About the audio jacket, if nintendo didn't care about making a in game chat system on the machine, imagine yet making a phone jacket avaiable for a alternative controller.

About the shortages, its simple: reatalier alreadly have enough trouble making wiiu avaiable, alternative controller are even worse, they jsut doesn't bother anymore.

This means nothing.

There is already a NFC reader in the Wii U gamepad why the hell do you want another accessory? Plus a pad-less sku is still out of the question considering they are utilizing the pad more


It's not about wanting another accessory. It's about making the Wii U not need the gamepad. With a Pro Controller that has an NFC reader, all they'd need to do is make a firmware update to make the Wii U 100% operational without the gamepad (which they've already started doing; it's like 98% operational without it as is) and sell a far cheaper, Gamepadless Wii U. Then the gamepad will become the accessory, as it should be.

But I know it will never happen, not because they are "utilizing the gamepad more," but because they're stubborn.


They haven't been doing that. They've been giving you options. There is a difference between removing something and giving you options... and since you don't know that I'm not even going to bother explaining it.

So odd that it's nowhere to be found and is now reaching $75 new!

Maybe they're ditching it in favor of a GC controller revival. Wavebird 2.0?

You're wrong, it should not be in the controller in the first place. For christ sakes you are 31 years old you have played game consoles for well over 20 years without microphones on the damn controllers. It shouldnt be on the PS4 controller and it shouldnt be on the Xbox controllers. I welcome a 80 dollar Wii U pro controller with this non-essential feature built right in just to make you happy and see you suffer for how god damn stupid this thread is. 

I think we've reached an end point. Speculations on a revision change doesn't mean releasing a brand new controller... end of thread. 

I don't know what you are on but I'm glad you've decided to leave. Wanting a mic on controller like the other guys is not asking for too much. Nor will it jack up the price.

I dont even want a mic on the controller all I want is a headphone jack... He flipped out over me wanting that for some reason.

Exactly. I have a white Japanese one I ordered there, too, mainly because my Wii U's white and they don't sell any white pro controllers in my country.
