I think it'll fall just short of 50%.
As much as I love my PS4 I don't think that it will reach 50% market share this year... With the games that the One and U have coming I expect there to be a surge in sales that make it unlikely!
Never say impossible though as nothing truly is 
I can kinda agree with the Wii U one.. pretty close to my 10.7m and I your XB1 prediction is close to mine.. 8.8m but your PS4 one will not happen. It won't sell 8 million in 4 months

If you think X1 can sell 4M, its logical to think PS4 can sell 2 times more, like it did during the whole year
Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:
PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m
that depends on GTAV...
If Sony lauch a PS4+GTAV bundlen then yeah, ps4 will be at 50% of the market by the end of 2014...
but don't worry... 50% will come whit time. 2015 for sure!

Since most people believe PS4 will be anywhere from 14-17 million by Jan 2015, does that mean you believe the Wii U will be between 12-15 million sold?

edit: in order for the ps4 to only sell 12 million by the end of the year, its sales will have to drop from its current level..

So will the PS4 be discontinued pretty soon? Even if it receives no destiny or holiday bump it should be at 12 million by mid November.

im bookmarking this post, and will bring it up again when we get september numbers and its already close to 12, then again in october when it hits 13, again in november when it hits 15, and again in december when it hits 17m.
You have to be living in a different world to think the ps4 would have sales like that. infact i will take a bet with you that the gap will be larger than 4 million at the end of the year
