Sony are publishing the Vita Minecraft not 4J. No doubt they threw money at development of the Vita version to make it happen.

If Nintendo do the same they might also get it, however I would also question the 3DS' ability to run Minecraft, even with the new model, would it actually have the hardware grunt for it? PS3/360 versions are cut back from the PC version, and the Vita version I understand will be cut back a little more (though better than the Pocket edition).

Maybe 3DS isn't powerful enough but i don't know. They might as well release minecraft on everything though

Anyone interested in starting a Kickstarter project to pay Mojang to make a 3DS version (or a Wii U version).

Probably Notch won't have anything against it if Ninty or some 3rd party totally takes the burden of porting and publishing it, and giving him a yummy share on sales whether it profit or not.

That is surely Nintendo's job. Given Sony ensured a Vita port the asking price can't be that high.
