Another case where the best possible platform for this kind of game (outside PC) won't get it. The gamepad would be a great controller for Minecraft.

I think most agree the Wii u would be a great platform for Minecraft-   Majong is obviously willing to expand the platform s that Minecraft is available but it does not seem Nintendo is doing what it takes to get Minecraft of the Wii u-  Who knows for all we know Nintendo may not want it -

Regardless of the reasons - Nintendo could make it happen if they really wanted to.  There are a whole generation of gamers that love Minecraft that could leave or bypass the Nintendo experience growing up

Because it's very apparent that Notch doesn't like nintendo.

How so?

Did you see the tweets he made?

My 5 year old would love to play it on the WiiU. He's currently playing the ps3 demo over and over while we're waiting for the ps4 version. A WiiU version would be better.

And yet no minecraft on WiiU...

Minecraft on a small screen at 240p... I can't imagine many things i'd want less. The iphone version is already awful, a 3DS version would just be... *shudders*

A WiiU version would make sense though. More sense then the Vita anyway (are Sony funding that port?).

What's the point? Minecraft is dead and everyone knows it.

What? Since when is Minecraft dead?

It is the Pokemon for kids now. That and Skylanders are all my nephew plays these days.

Yes, it is a very hardcore game (sarcasm for poll). My little bro plays FREE on his cheap Android tablet.

They just hate Nintendo. No release for Wii (more than one hundred million owners), 3DS (45+ million owners) and WiiU (7+ million owners)! It is VERY smart and explains everything behind their logic!

I expect it to happen soon. Nintendo have expressed their interest in the game and have hinted at a Wii U version.

I seriously doubt they hate Nintendo. When Minecraft was coming around, the Wii was a dying platform and I don't think either the 3DS or Wii are powerful enough to offer a good Minecraft experience.

Not only that, but it's also about Nintendo's attitude. Sony and Microsoft seriously went out of their way to get Minecraft on their platforms several years ago, whereas it appears that Nintendo have just recently started to notice its success.

I'm 99% sure the game will come to Nintendo platforms eventually, but probably only the Wii U.
