Sucks to hear about this game because it really has my interest. Well I still can't wait to see/hear more about this game. And from reading the article I am confuse on what he is saying....is he saying the game plays bad or the games doesn't play like eh expected? Well anyway hoping this game turns out to be good....

....side note why do a lot of people think about Gears Of War when looking at this game? Gears outside of being a TPS with a cover system is completely different from this game. And my goodness the "clone" crap is getting annoying and old. Especially seeing as ALL games have taken from other games in some sort or form so every game is basically a clone in some shape or form of something. Geez people give that a rest.....

Didn't you hear? Every 3rd person shooter is a Gears of War clone nowadays! They should just name the genre after Gears of War, the holy grail of gaming.

Just like CGI youre talking about something completely different than i am.  Im talking about Third person-shooting not cinematic gameplay.  And Halo 4 is nothing like uncharted.  In fact cinematic gameplay has existed well before Uncharted including Gears of War.  Set pieces etc also existed well before Uncharted.  Literally there is only one game like Uncharted and that is Tomb Raider. I can not think of a single other game that plays like it. While i can think of lots of Gears clones i can only think of one uncharted clone.

Splinter Cell also doesnt play like Uncharted for the record.  And Halo sure as hell has nothing in common with Uncharted.  Go ahead and look at cinematic set-pieces over the years.  Whether it be Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Gears of War, Alan Wake, GTA, or almost any game with a story, this stuff has existed for a long time.

Also, i just played Splinter Cell conviction. It plays like Uncharted.. Not as good but it plays like it. The motherfucker moves around JUST LIKE Nathan Drake. I just played this game like 3 weeks ago before trading it in..

Conviction was announced before Uncharted came out. And it plays like Splinter Cell. Or have you not played the earlier ones?

Conviction came out in 2010. Uncharted 1 came out in 2007 and Uncharted 2 in 2009. I played one Splintercell on Xbox or Either PS2 but i really can t remember. I can tell you that Splinter cell conviction played a MILLION times better than the one i played on PS2/Xbox.

You said that The Order looks like Gears and i'm guessing that is also specifically because of the gun play, right?

Its very hard to say this doesnt look like gears esque gameplay.  Its like you all are upset somebody is comparing it to Gears which is what popularized this style of gameplay and is the standard for it.  Its going to happen.  People arent comparing it to Uncharted because it doesnt play like Uncharted.  As said before, I can think of only one game that is widely known to play like Unharted.  That is Tomb Raider.

As i said, its hard to say it doesnt have Gears esque gameplay, and people can complain all they want as shown above, but it will be compared to gears.

I was hyped about The Order until the E3 2014 showing.

Graphically a masterpiece. Gameplay seemed to lack the intensity of TLOU and anything resembling uniqueness...

Bloodbourne on the other hand... Can't wait!

LOL! It just boggles my mind. I know first hand what Gears is and how great it is. But games have been doing what Gears did for a LONG time now. The only difference is Gear/Epic got it down and did it right! The cover system, shooting and story all made Gears what it is. Did it do something that has never been done or attempted before? No not at all. It just did what other tried to do dang near perfect. And they deserve the praise for that. But outside of that every freaking game that is a TPS with a cover system is not a freaking Gears of War clone or a "poor mans" Gears of War as some people have called this game. It just needs to stop lol....

Conviction played NOTHING like the other Splinter Cell games because it was not a Splinter Cell game. It was not a stealth game. It was a 3rd person shooter. And a complete joke to the franchise. Play Double Agent or Pandora Tomorrow if you want a real Splinter Cell experience. Even Blacklist was a far better game.

He said announced before, not came out before.  Uncharted: Drakes Fortune wasnt very popular until Uncharted 2 came out actually.

And Splinter Cell was much better before Conviction.  Its PS2 days were probably its prime really because now theyre Action games rather than Stealth games.

Yep. Though Blacklist was pretty good.

Wtf!? Are you getting mad or something? LMAOOO! XD

Relax ;)

You are correct that it doesn't play like  Uncharted but what makes you even say this? It seems like you are so focused on combating gears over Uncharted that you magically think that i'm saying that The Order plays like Uncharted or something XD

Games get compared to others all the time. The thing that gets annoying to me is that almost ANY TPS game with a  cover system gets compared to Gears of War now or is called a clone. Heck even Uncharted was compared to Gears Of War at some point and it is nothing like Gears outside of being a TPF with a cover system.  The game play looks NOTHING like Gears to me outside of being a TPS. Heck to be honest Gears seemed WAY smoother than this game.

Heck I get more of a KZ feel with this game than I do a Gears Of War feeling when looking at this game. And that is odd for me. I guess it is the atmosphere....
