How About This, For The West N3DS Launches With Xenoblade Chronicles Free (Ala WiiU's Nintendo Land)

Do you guys think this would work? Nintendo has been on a roll with great offers/decisions lately.

If not do you believe Xenoblade Chronicles will be released same day as New 3DS?

I'm annoyed that I won't be able to play the game on my 3ds (I have the original one from like 3-4 years ago). I was already considering upgrading to get this game. If they made this a free game with the console and they gave good trade in value for my 3ds and they let me transfer my games and data I'd be willing to get one.

That would be great although I would rather have an original game for free rather than a port that I can play on my wiiU

another circle pad $15+ value
more battery life $5+ value
built in amiibo $5+ value
So if you were planning on getting all of these features then you would be playing $80 at most for better 3ds + more games.

It would be great for the consumer... thus it will not happen except for in special bundles down the line if the Nu3DS sells well.

The fact is Nintendo knows that Xenoblade is popular and that a lot of people missed out on playing in late in the Wii's life cycle. The primary reason Shulk is in Smash Bros 4 is to advertise the character much like why Roy was in Melee in order to get people to buy the game. You don't advertise what you know you can sell for free.

The best we are likely to see from Nintendo is some Club Nintendo related discount for those that buy the New 3DS and the Xenoblade port or some other game.

I'm not sure why people think his is a crazy idea? Nintendo bundles games with their consoles all the time, I don't see why it would be any different here. I think they should have two bundles when it comes out, one with Xenoblade and one with Monster Hunter 4.

I have a feeling they'll do a rather high end pack-in title for the New 3DS. Seems Nintendo is on a roll with that.
