I assume most people play the pirated Wii-games on their PC with Dolphin in HD. But the Wii could be hacked, I'm not sure if every version. The same may be the case with the Wii-mode of the WiiU, but as far as I know WiiUs itself aren't hacked yet.

And I have to ask: Is Xenoblade really that scarce in America? It's pretty much available in europe, although pricey:

Really? Maybe I should sell my copy of Xenoblade Chronicles I bought back in January for 10eur

Yeah, seems pretty expensive. Maybe it's only marketplace on Amazon. I didn't do more googling, amazon already had the game.

I got my copy for 60 euros earlier this year here in europe. The game was worth it. Played it on the Wii U.

I live in the Philippines, so I have no access to Ebay or something like that.

I'd pirate it. It's the only way you'll get to play it and it's common where you live. Heck, your country was devastated recently, you don't need to concern yourself with buying expensive used games.

Just be careful not to brick your Wii.

As someone who did softmod the Wii U wii mode... DO NOT DO IT UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND UNDERSTAND THERE IS ZERO BRICK PROTECTION

other than that, I wouldn't suggest burning an ISO to a DVD (this process is actually more trouble than it's worth. Playing backups off USB is a more healthy solution for your Wii U and Wii and easier to remove. But the process to do this is cumbersome

Thank you. So pirated version it is!

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

lol.

Though I will say, if you REALLY want to pirate, either A. Hack a regular Wii instead since hacking one is ridiculously easy, or B. Use Dolphin.

I hear you though man. I really want to play this game myself, but the problem is getting an actual copy of the game.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Just shell out $50 and support the company

XBOX ONE/Wii U/3DS/PC

Thanks for all the great memories!

Is Xenoblade Chronicles available at retail anymore?

Not that I'm condoning piracy, but you'd only be supporting resellers who are in part responsible for limited run games selling out so quickly and then reaching astronomical resale values.

It's not, you'd be lucky to find a copy for 50 dollars.

I'd just Dolphin it. I don't usually support pirating, though I'd say a game like Xenoblade is is a special case since it had a limited run and its like $100.

You could also wait for the 3DS version to come out, even if you don't buy a new 3DS the prices for the Wii version will probably go down a bit once it comes out.
