Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo confirms price on Amiibos

That's not a bad price. They look pretty good... some better than others, but what can you do.

Around the Network

Skylanders go for £8.99 here to £8 would be reasonable (given the market).

Both are way too expensive for what is essentially a little plastic toy, but you can't really fault Nintendo (or Activision) for that. The kids toy market isn't exactly known for its great value and high quality production :p

That's a little more than I was hoping for, but still within the bounds of reasonableness.

That price is reasonable, I'll be getting Samus and Link right off the bat

Unfortunately they're AUD $18. The rule of thumb for Aussie prices is to do a fair currency conversion, then add 30%.

Didn't know that

I'll probably by a decent amount of these, despite my better judgment.

I was hoping for $10 but I was expecting $15, so I'm fine with the price.

EBGames seems to be trying to sell them for $30. Good luck with that.

That was just the placeholder price that's been up since they were announced. I expect they'll update it soon.

Urghh... I wanted to buy most of them, but with that price? At least I will buy the possible ZSS Amiibo! That's for sure!
