Could This Actually Work? The "New 3DS/XL" become a Gamepad Substitute for the WiiU? Thus Making a $150-$200 Gamepadless SKU for WiiU!

Your thoughts? I mean now the "New 3DS/XL has practically the same button layout as the gamepad. Everything is there and with a new SKU of $150/$200, it can potentially save the WiiU.

Plssssss Nintendo? Pretty pls? @.@

Here is my layout of how things can go...

★By Holiday 2015!!

$150: New 3DS    $180: New 3DS XL    (or both an extra $10, watever :p )

$300: WiiU (with gamepad)    $200: WiiU standalone+ ProController

or a bundle....

$300: WiiU + "New 3DS"      $320: WiiU + "New 3DS XL"

So they have to buy a new 3DS aswell? What if you don't buy a new 3DS?

I thought about this as well...
Would be interesting, but i don't think they'll do it.

If you're interested in Nintendo content and understand german, maybe you want to take a look at my youtube channel! :)

No.

To expand upon this, certainly not.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I want to say no cause the streaming latency might be too high imo

It's a possibility. release an app for free on the new device that allows that connectivity. Have it be totally optional and you get a game console out of it to boot!

Not powerful enough.

Then get a regular WiiU (with the gamepad)

I think with N3DS launching in japan first and then early 2015 fr the West, the hardcore fans will buy it up, and have te option with a portable system as well as the home console... AKA Nintendo Fusion Beta!

Wouldn't this be an excellent way to test out this Nintendo Fusion Hybrid of next gen? N3DS doesn't have to cross play like Vita/ps3+ps4, just use it as a substitute gamepad.

Its not like its impossible imo

But you said gamepad-less SKU didn't you?

And Conegamer is right in this case (as he is quite often ) It'll never happen.
