So I just got done playing the Hyrule Warriors demo and I thought it was an absolute blast. Its your typical Dynasty Warriors style game so if your turned off by that style this may not be your kind of game but playing as Link destroying hordes of enemy forces is pretty awesome. So far the Fire Staff is my favorite weapon. The ultimate moves / boss fights are pretty epic.

So anyone else give this game a spin yet?

May i ask you how many Zelda elements it has?
I saw some puzzles in videos, but is there more than that?
Unfortunately i haven't had the chance to play it yet, but i do plan on buying it on release.

Yes its cool, i thinkthe game will definitely be more about nostalgia. Kinda the way SSB does when you play it in a sense.

As for Gameplay, its definitely fun only played once. It might get repetitive but with different characters and playstyle i think it'll help out. Imused to it as i played One Piece on ps3 and loved it.

Damn, i hope this game does well, so third parties can do more collaborations!!!

It does tend to feel like LoZ in some aspects (grabbing treaure/rubies/item usage). Puzzles arent really heavy as its a DW game, but there are some (just not really puzzling lol!).

Game will definitely have nostalgic moments especially when going through the maps! Its pretty good and fun, at least to me. Not day 1 as i need to get 3 copies of SSB 3DS, but i'll pick it up during this holiday :)

Alright! I have played a Dynasty Warriors before so i know what to expect! I hope I'll enjoy this one!

Btw just because its called "3DS" doesn't mean that you need 3 copies of a game to play it!

What I played didnt really have puzzles other than figuring out weaknesses of bosses. It really feels like Dynasty Warriors but with a Zelda theme. Personally it felt a lot better than those games to me but the style is very very similar

I played the demo and had mixed feelings. It was fun for a while, but by 10 minutes into it I was born. Most enemies didn't seem to pose any sort of threat and the combos felt limited. Maybe with more combos (which you unlock by leveling up) and more difficult enemies (do Dynasty warriors games have a good difficulty curb?) I'd like it a bit better.

You were...born? Wow...ummm, that is interesting.

PS: I have nothing to add to this conversation .-. Game looks fun but I haven't played it.

I wish I had access to that Hyrule Warriors demo.. :S

I have not played it outside of the demo however I have contacts in that far off east land who have. For reference from them, it plays like/better/worse than DW8XL depending on which one I ask in particular, the two more DW inclined players were in split on the latter two choices, but the general consensus I have gotten was that the game was far better than what people had initially been expecting... because of the Zelda skin.

Also all of them bought it digitally because it was cheaper but that's anecdotal lolevidence.
