So far the PS4 is winning with 5.640 million sold so far this year and the 3DS is at 3.943 million, the PS4 had a big boost from it's launch early in the year but lately it's been neck and neck. The 3DS has been number 1 two years in a row and probably would be 3 years if it launched a little earlier. The decider is really going to be this holiday and whos got the bigger exclusives. So who will sell the most durring the holidays? Who will sell the most all year around for 2014?

Easily. Shouldn't even be a question anymore. PS4 will steamroll 3DS.

I'm going to be pretty shocked if that doesn't happen!

Wat. Yes, by 5m+. I expect 3DS to finally be adjusted down once the next shipment numbers are in

PS4 in 2014 will probably sell about what the 3DS sold last year. 3DS will not.

PS4 will sell more hands down.

That has nothing to do with 2014 though, we kno 3DS is overtracked lifetime by about a million, but thats from before 2014. (reguarding the thread of course).

OT: 5.64mil vs 3.94mil? Damn that gap wont disappear. Sept will be huge for PS4, but i think 3ds+ps4 will be neck to neck during the holiday, with of course PS4 slightly being larger.

Think many people are forgeting Japan, and the N3DS+N3DSLL. 

As of now my prediction is PS4: 11.5mil Sold  3DS: 8.5mil

I'd be shocked if 3DS lost by a few units....

It has Smash + 2 Pokémon vs Destiny.

And the Japanese holiday nuke from Nintendo. (10 or so games in next few months and the redesign.)

PS4 easily. Both will sell very well, but 3DS has not so good system seller for te rest of the year. A Pokemon remake and Smash won't be enough against Destiny, and if they are enough, it still would need to sell an extra 2 million since the PS4 > 3DS so far.

PS4 easily. 3ds will miss by quite a long shot.
