God no it looks to be using a modified 3DS OS anyways. However you might have to purchase a microSD card. Thankfully they are cheap and I hope that the New 3Ds supports up to 128gb microsd cards

Thank god lol

Why would I have to redownload them if they're already on my SD card?

Can't you sell it on ebay? I think the Pikachu 3DS is actually worth quite a lot, so you'll probably get enough money to purchase a new one!

No lol like I love it. Though admitedly, I'd have a much easier time deciding to switch if I knew I could transfer my digital games. Seriously Nintendo, get on that.

Aren't purchases synced to your NN account?

I want to want this SOOO badly, but I have a Pikachu 3DS. No trade ins here. Also, I only have digital games. If I can't transfer them over, lmao, Nintendo can fuck off with their shiny new upgrade.

If you have a PC with an SD card slot, you can transfer your download games

System ID token?

But when I transfered downloads from my 4GB card to my 32GB card, I didn't have to redownload anything.

Because you used it on the same console. You can do the same thing with Wii. When you transfer between two consoles you need to redownload

Wouldn't that mean that you'd have two of the same game on one card? The old download and the new one?
