This is really no different than the DSi, except that the "exclusive" software for this model is already much more worthwhile.

THAT IS INCREDIBLY CHEAP. I doubt it will be like this, when the old XL is more than 150!

Rule of thumb (despite official exchange rates being wildly different) is 100 yen -> $1 - £1, so it will likely be closer to £180, and $180 USD

No lol like I love it. Though admitedly, I'd have a much easier time deciding to switch if I knew I could transfer my digital games. Seriously Nintendo, get on that.

To be real, yeah that does suck. I mean i think anybody that purchased one awhile back doesn't mind as much cuz its literally new HW, but for those that just bought it..... Especially in japan where it is coming out in 6 weeks.

Its just like X1 consumers before the announcement of SKU less Kinect O.o

It plays 3Ds games so you should be able to transfer.

I only have digital games on an SD card though. The only physical game I own is Pokemon X. Isn't there firmware that prevents you from moving that from one place to another? And isn't it Micro SD only now? I'm pretty sure my 32GB card is just standard SD.

God no it looks to be using a modified 3DS OS anyways. However you might have to purchase a microSD card. Thankfully they are cheap and I hope that the New 3Ds supports up to 128gb microsd cards
