Those new Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL models look kinda snazzy right?

Well you’re crap out of luck unless you can speak Japanese. Nintendo Europe has confirmed that the console will not be making its way there until 2015. Nintendo Japan has also confirmed the console will not be making its way to North America either.

Nintendo of Europe made the following statement to Eurogamer: “Different territories make their own business decisions regarding individual products and timing. We plan to launch these products in Europe in 2015. We have a variety of compelling portable gaming options for consumers now and through the Christmas shopping season, including a variety of different Nintendo 2DS and Nintendo 3DS XL bundles at retail.”

Could Nintendo Australia release the console here outside of the other regions? Not likely.

That's unexpected. Because of the Japanese Direct it was clear that the new systems will release later in other territories but not before the holidays? I think that kinda sounds like Nintendo isn't sure how the consumers will accept the new 3DS and use Japan as a test before they release the new 3DS in the west.

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

Is it too much to ask for 3d less console version? I don't want to pay for something a don't use.
