In 2011 and the release of the Vita, these features were frowned upon and cited as reasons why their sales were horrible...in relation to the 3DS.  Now itll be interesting to see peoples perceptions change.

Will they say nintendo did console on the go first with titles like Mario 64 for the DS?

Will they say 'Nintendo is introducing these changes and that menas its better by default?

They should of did these alterations during the orignal XL. The market wasn't as big. And the original 3DS could of been discontinued like the fat DS was without much issues. Now it's a mess waiting this long. And Nintendo's pass uses of new hardware always sucked.

Remember when the Wii Zapper came out and how everyone was gonna use it. How many games did. Remember the N64 EXP pack. 2 games forced you. And that's it. The DSi Exclusives never came here. And the GB Micro went down the drain. Even ROB got only two games.

I never trust any updates Nintendo does for these factors.

Really? people said the vita failed cause it was more powerful and it had 2 sticks? link those posts.. I want to see that..

Why would those of all things be frowned upon and be cited as the reason for Vita's failure? A high price, needing a proprietary memory card to even be able play anything at all and a lack of games in general were the reasons. It's not like a dual-analogue in itself would make a system sell less, that's ridiculous.

There's not a lot for Nintendo fans to 'spin' or 'justify' really. At least not by me .

I'll just sit back and watch, no point in debating this.
