No, it's the time for a new model, but not the time for a new handhled! The huge mistake is to make New 3DS-only games : people won't pay 170€ for slightly improved graphics or Wii straight ports.

Me too! Thankfully it comes out 2015 , enough time to finish last year of school and use my grades tp persuade my parents to buy me another 3ds for the 3rd time

Releasing a new 3DS model with all these improvements (apart from the CPU boost) ? Yeah, sure, great idea, there is always room for improvement !

But releasing a new system with big exclusive games (and not only a few exclusives like the DSi had) uncompatible with the old 3DS (which came out only 3 years ago) ? No. Not a good idea.

I'm not sure about that. People paid $400 for slightly improved graphics or PS3 straight ports.

It's a 3DSi. And, unlike the DSi, which I regarded as a mess from the very start, this actually looks like something worth buying.

A three-year release cycle is good enough for Nintendo, I suppose.
