Thank god someone is not scamming us.

Pretty much if the game has DLC announced before release it's a no buy for me. No matter how good it is.

You know if Mario Kart 8 was 1gb on a 25gb disc with the same content wouldn't be a full game?  When they make a project they have limited Money, Time and maybe in this case more presure from Nintendo, This dlc could be on the disc but the game would be release it on may 2015!!

Almost no negative coments so far, Im shocked since its a nintendo thread. Altho, if it was an xbox thread it would not pass the first page.

But this is exactly why I tend to not buy games wich require dlc to feel I have the full game. People can say what they want about nintendo, but they are the most pro-consumer company of the big 3.

Limited time, money and etc when you going to learn that big companies have all the resources, time and etc they need to do the job? Most nintendo games are cheaply made compared to the average game, so money isn't the issue, time?  All they got to do is work harder or hire more people. DLC shouldn't be allow unless they maxed out how much the disc can hold and I'm wouldn't be surprised if half their games don't even make the disc 50% full. DLC is clearly delayed projects they delayed on purpose to get extra money from you because they know you are   gullible enough to buy into it. If nintendo was working so hard then the wii u wouldn't be dying.

Isn't the retail core Mario Golf have the same number of courses as all past Mario Golf games?

It just doesn't feel right Nintendo doing day one DLC like that. When you offer so many course like that on day one, it just seems like you left them out. I current have the game in the mail right now so maybe I'll be able to answer the content level at a later time.


I totally understand where you are coming from. However, keep in mind that they never charged full price for Mario Golf. It was a reduced price. Because they didn't sell the game for full price, I think the day 1 DLC is okay.



I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Big companies have all the resourses? someone doesn't understand economics... Large amounts of money does not equal infinite amounts of money

Lets fill all the 25gb with garbage, it doenst matter if is good content the game will be awesome and full because you know the Disc now is 100% full :)

You want to talk about economics but yet I never said infinite once. I clearly they have a lot of money to afford and trust me they could.
