I think everyone else like EA and UBI will continue their shit dlc thrend until the end of time

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Wait what's the difference? I mean its a good value (I just preordered the 2 pack) but it's also judged differently from an adventure game like AC

This, pretty much. I don't think the general consumer is very aware of how much of a ripoff DLC can be sometimes, and if they continue to buy it, EA/Ubi/Activision will continue to peddle it at the prices they always have.

Nope. Won't change anything.

How about NSLU? Is that a better comparison? (just asking^^)

I think it will influence other Nintendo DLC for sure.

Short answer: very (repeat indefinitely) unlikely.

Well, as long as people buy it, even though dlc can be overpriced for such small and sometimes useless dlc (like costumes).

I actually think the bundled MK8 dlc is a pretty good deal.

Check out my site: http://www.agamingwebsite.blogspot.com/

Currently playing: Bayonetta, Destiny (barely), Fantasy Life

Probably Getting: Bravely Second, Devil's Third, Final Fantasy 15, Final Fantasy Explorers, Super Smash Bros U, Star Fox U, The Witcher 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zelda U

It's so cute that you think this will change anything. Big third parties have been doing this for years and it's working for them so there is no incentive to stop.

once consumers see what Nintendo has as DLC they will realize they have been cheated on with content worth less than it is by other devs. They will either stop buying unless more is added or keep on being idiots and suck on whatever is given to them
