With week 16th numbers we have PS4 at 53k globally in USA and X1 at 48k WW in the globe.

How do you fell about PS4 outselling X1 WW with only with USA numbers? With USA sales for X1and X360 being 65%+ of their total sales and PS4 headed to 2,5:1 it is quite possible that LT PS4 globally in USA will be above X1 WW.
