I'm not really a fan of most racing games. Should I make a thread putting down racing games and telling people why I think they suck? If you don't like them,that's fine,but alot of other's do.

There is not a single bad FPS that sells millions. A bad FPS cannot turn into a franchise.

I liked Fallout 3, Far Cry 3, Bioshock, Killzone 2 and some others. I made the thread because it is crazy to me how crappy most of the BIG FPSs are. After playing Crysis 3 and Metro Last light I was like... Wow, this is reaaaaally bad, and it sell so much. And those are gems compared to Call of Duty, so, I guess it deserves some discussion.

Also, if you make the racing thread, post the link, I will be honored to read and make a comment.

Bad is a relative term. Whether or not they are bad in your opinion doesn't change my point. If there are a JRPG and a FPS in the same league, the FPS will sell more guaranteed. This might change, but currently that's how it is.

Is it because FPSs have to have near perfect game mechanic and be competitive that attracts more gamers?

Humans love competition and in video game, FPSs and Sports titles are what quench that thirst.

I'm not going to complain if fewer fps's are made because the market was super flooded last gen. But I still like them.

Metro: Last Light is bad? Weird, its the best single player FPS I've played in a while. I just bought the redux versions despite finishing the game recently. I must have really bad taste. Oh well, let the "fun police" dictate what is and isn't fun.
