Not at all.

It was the same with the ps3, horrible numbers until some japs games like Final fantasy and mgs4.

Ps4 will got a good boost (like the psvita) once she got jap games.

I don't think there is much Sony can do. Japanese developers are still sticking with PS3 for major upcoming titles.

Even the Vita has is a failure in Japan, a platform with pretty strong Japanese support.

But the next FF and MGS are coming to PS3 as well (and maybe PS Now for those Vita users). To play FFXIII and MGS4, consumers had to upgrade from PS2.

Lets also bear in mind, PS3 has sold less than half of what PS2 did.

Lets also bear in mind, PS3 has sold less than half of what PS2 did.

I believe only MGS5 is coming to the older generation consoles and if I'm not mistaken FFXV and FF Type-0 are only on the newer generation ones.

Of course it will sell more consoles. Will it sell a respectable number in the long run? Will it win out Nintendo? Again, I don't think so.

Final Fantasy XV, MGSV, etc.. will certainly help the PS4, but it won't magically save the console! I still think the PS4 will sell less than the PS3 LT in Japan! :S
