Forums - Gaming Discussion - Can we stop down playing ea access now?

Let's look at the real picture. As of now ea access has 4 games (totalling up to 30 plus dollars in retail). It also has 10 percent discount AND early access. All for 30 a year? That's crazy. Ea has already said they won't take a game out the vault. So for people downplaying why are you? Some of you guys are acting like the only thing ea access fives you is a 6 hour game play with Madden. That's not it's only feature. If it was that would be a rip off. Now let me give you a scenario. Dragon age inquisition is coming out. The month of, I buy a month subscription. 5 dollars. I then can play Da before it comes out. When It does come out I can buy it for 54 dollars the day of release. I saved 6 bucks. So ea access has already payed for itself and then some. Not only do I get that I also get 4 free games to play that month when ever I'm bored of dragon age

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

Ea access is okay, not great. Battlefield 4 has put a sour taste in my mouth honestly. Save data deleted twice and shit lol. EA Acess gave me trust issues.

If you want to subscribe to ea for your gaming pleasure do it. You cannot force other people to agree with your opinion.

Are you going to subscribe to every other publisher if this takes off?

Ubisoft
Squarenix
Capcom
Activision

I think you must be starting to get the point

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

It's not EAA on it's own that I have a problem with. It's the trend that it may very well set that I take issue with. It's a slippery slope that may not end well for us.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I would sub to EA and Ubisoft. $60 a year to play games I didn't play for a whole year?

Watchdogs, AC4, Child of Light, BF4, Peggle 2, Madden 25, NFS and Plants vs Zombie?

Bring it pubs.

It's not something I would subscribe too because the more users they obtain, the more content they gate behind this system. The way they've been operating lately proves that. Also sports games, and a broken fps isn't even worth $5 to me. However, I can see why a fan of those titles would be interested.

The problem I personally have with people praising EA is the hypocrisy they display with their attitude against ps+

You can't keep saying tha ps+ is terrible because it's a rental service and you don't keep your games, only to start praising EA's vault. Especially when EA was the most hated company and suddenly when they decided to bring their service to a single console, it became this really cool thing. At least be consistent.

Edit: It personally doesn't interest me because I don't like most EA games. For those who do, good for them, but again, ps+ offers more games from many companies, so how one can praise EA after bashing ps+ is beyond me.

I don't like EA, but I like the approach they have with EA Access. I feel like I get good value for it, especially if it somehow keeps online communities going for older multiplayer games.

But, yeah, I wouldn't want to subscribe to all the publishers. Slippery slope here, I tell ya.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

:3

The thing people dislike about EA Access is that it has some very dangerous implications for the industry as a whole. What happens when Ubisoft and Activision join in? They're going to have to start competing with other subscription services which means locking away exclusive content only available for subscribers and taking stuff away from non subscribers. We've already seen it happen with the Madden demo. Who knows what's next?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

A fan of those titles would already have those games, so why would they sign up for EA A?
