Most people are telling me that ps4/xb1 game libraries are way too similar and wii u is the better choice. Although that may be true, xbox one is still the better second console choice based on what ps4 owners like. PS4 best selling games are Killzone, TLOU, BF and COD. All of these games are shooters. Why would a fanbase of shooters buy a Wii U? While on Xbox One they can buy Halo, Gears, Titan Fall, Quantum Break, Tomb Raider, Dead Rising and more?  You have to look at games that appeal to the fanbase the most and Xbox One games should appeal to PS4 owners more than the Wii U.

You do know that liking shooters doesn't mean you can't also like things that aren't shooters... right? Also, why buy a system that does the same thing as the one you already have? If you want to play the same games play them on the one system. If you want something different, go with the different offerings.

Does the same thing? You can play Halo , Gears , Titan Fall on PS4? Are you telling me that someone who like COD and BF will want to play some mario game over exclsuive shooters on the other system?

Agreed. What's the point on spending 400$ more to get a console that's more or less the same as the first one ?

With the likes of Metroid, ZombiU, Splatoon, Devil's Third and unique gamepad features of Deus Ex and existing CoD releases, the Wii U provides a very different take on FPS.

Plus you can play Zelda, Mario, Mario Kart, and Smash. Everyone loves those games!

You do realize that most people who play PS4 wish that the Xbox (original) never existed right?

And if the shooters i want to play, like Bioshock or Borderlands, are on both consoles?

But i can play half of those games on PC.
Can't play anything from Nintendo on PC.

Shooters are best selling because there was a large amount of high profile shooters come out in a short space of time after release.When you see GTA V, Final fantasy etc release that will change....
