For example, Wii U is my primary console, but I'm not interested in Mario Maker, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, or Mario Party 10.

Ori and the Blind Forest
Halo 5 (I am going to dive back into Halo, which I have never loved, with MCC (co-op with my bro) which might change this).
Driveclub
Little Big Planet.
Probably more of both, but they are off the top of my head.

How can you not be excited for ori? Id play it just for the trailer music. Dont have an xbox though so im gonns have to settle with the sound track release
Hmmm... Well, the PS4 is definitely my main console this gen. I'm actually buying every single exclusive they've announced. I hadn't even realised that until now! lol
I might be sticking with the PS+ Edition of DriveClub, though, since I'm not a big racing fan... But the game looks stunning, so I'll at least play it.
DriveClub is the closest thing I have to an answer for your question.
EDIT: I was just reminded of MLB The Show! While it's a fantastic series in terms of quality, I absolutely hate sports games. So that's my answer... Every year. lulz

I WANT to be excited for Ori.
I just don't see the magic yet that everyone else does. That said, I will give it a go when it gets cheap/goes on Games with Gold.

I have to agree, actually. I think the visuals and to a lesser extent the sound are where the magic lies.
But I'm really not enchanted with the gameplay. This comes from someone who is inclined to fall in love with artsy 2D platformers.
PS4
