I didn't. Just because the 360 had a steadier stream than the Wii doesn't mean that the 360 actually had a steady stream of AAA titles. Relative =/= Definitive. Fable 3 absolutely sucked. Halo 4 was a step down from Halo Reach. Gears of War Judgement was also a huge step down from Gears 3.

Oh ok, so because YOU didn't particularly care for M$'s more recent exclusives they're not actually AAA titles, and your opinion automatically overrides the millions who bought and enjoyed all of those games you listed.

So therefore, I can make the same exact argument about the PS3's library in recent years because I didn't particularly care for AAA titles like Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, GoW Ascension, Resistance 3, Ratchet & Clank All 4 One, etc. even though they all sold well, were critically acclaimed and have millions of fans.

Did I actually say that? It's quite silly seeing you taking so much offense of my lack of preference towards recent Xbox exclusives. Your second paragraph is a true testament to your knee-jerk habits.

Did I say I didn't like Gears 3 or Halo Reach? I only said that Halo 4 and Gears: Judgement were significantly worse than their predecessors. Gears 3 and Halo Reach were good games, but their respective sequels were largely underwhelming. Your "I can do it, too" argument doesn't hold any water because you only provided a laundry list of PS3 exclusives. I, on the other hard, made comparisons. Seriously, my message was as clear as day, but I guess some people are too "reply first, think later" that even the clearest messages just fly over their heads... -_-"

Man are you great at twisting things...

"Just because the 360 had a steadier stream than the Wii doesn't mean that the 360 actually had a steady stream of AAA titles."

Your message was as clear as day, huh?  Well then explain that statement... what exactly did you mean? Because when I read that statement "clear as day" it means that the sequels you listed like Fable 3, Halo 4 and Gears Judgement are not AAA games simply because in your opinion they were worse than their predecessors.

"Did I say I didn't like Gears 3 or Halo Reach?"

Nope... did I say that you didn't?  First off you said Halo 4 and Gears Judgement were steps down from Reach and Gears 3, not that you didn't like Reach or Gears 3.  Way to twist things again.  Secondly, you said flat out that Fable 3 sucks... which is fine.  This is all your opinion and you have every right to voice it.  But you can't use your opinion and personal gaming preferences to then make the leap to "the 360 didn't have a steady stream of AAA titles post-Kinect", which is blatantly false.

And the best is you even admit to doing so in your post when you accuse me of taking offence to your quote unquote "lack of preference towards recent Xbox exclusives."  No one took offence to your gaming preferences.  What I objected to was using your own prefererences as evidence that the 360 has no AAA games.

And now you're talking only about exclusives here... you didn't specify exclusives when you said flat out in your original statement that I objected to... "The 360's library was really dry ever since the Kinect came out..." In a thread that isn't even about the 360 or its library, but the XB1 and its chances of matching its predecessor's sales.

When someone makes a negative statement like that, that they can't back up with facts nor has anything to do with the topic at hand, that's pretty much the text-book definition of "trolling".  I'll just leave it at that.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Xbox has the better of the exclusives this holiday, with one of them being their best-selling franchise in Halo:MCC which literally every hands-on, first person viewing, etc. has gushed about. If they still get outsold 2:1 worldwide or something, let's start thinking about what's next for the brand.

But I think they'll be fine, particularly in North America.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

MS also did a bad job transitioning to the X1 even without the horrid reveal. The 360's library was really dry ever since the Kinect came out and that left a bad taste in the 360 users' mouths. When the X1 was revealed more as TV box than a games console, it was basically the last straw for much of the 360 owners.

There you go with the knee-jerk reactions again. Stop twisting things. It's getting really embarrasing.

For instance, you accused me with this statement: so because YOU didn't particularly care for M$'s more recent exclusives they're not actually AAA titles.

Nowhere did I explicitly say that I didn't care about MS's exclusives. You cleary jumped the gun without thinking and this is the result. Also, the AAA part. Read my previous comments again. If you're having difficulty, CTRL + F "AAA". Nowhere in any of my comments mentioned AAA or even implied that the sequels were not AAA. How you conlcuded that the "360's library was dry post-Kinect" meant "360's library had no AAA games" just boggles my mind.

You also complained that my statement does not even relate to the thread topic. Yes, it does. The discussion here is about why the X1 could potentially not do well in the US. I provided a theory to one of the reasons why it has not and will not do well. A lot of 360 users were put off of MS's infatuation with the Kinect which consequently decreased the amount of exclusives the console got. It didn't help that much of the remaining exclusives were sequels that were clearly worse than their predecessors. Even when you put multiplats into the equation, the library is still underwhelming, especially at that time, exclusive after exclusive were released on the PS3. It leaves a bad taste and gives 360 users little reason to go for an X1, especially having experienced MS's ineptitude with the core gamers. The X1 reveal ultimately gave 100% confirmation to what I just said in the last sentence. This is why the X1 isn't doing well so far and why almost a third of PS4 users were non-PS3 users from last gen.

This is why I called you out on your knee-jerk habits. My statement on the 360's library late in its lifecycle apparently struck a dissonant chord to you that you instantly disagreed in the form of personal attacks. I replied to your accusations and now, you're accusing me for going off-topic? LMAO. It was your fault that this conversation went off the rails. See, even when I'm replying to your false accusations, I'm still on topic as shown on the previous paragraph.

Also, your last paragraph is uncalled for, too. The fact that you resorted to these kind of false accusations instead of properly counterarguing clearly reveals your lack of capacity and unwillingless to provide evidence and debate. You rather attack the person instead of actually discussing.

Hence why atoning for the X1 reveal, E3 2013, and unbundling the Kinect won't be enough, I'm afraid. MS has to address the mistakes they made prior to the X1 reveal, too.

I find it funny everyone puts so much faith in Halo. At some point you have to acknowledge the very real possibility that people have gotten tiered of the franchise and it won't sell as well as you think because people have moved on and are looking for something new like Destiney. Which for the record will sell many more Ps4's than Xb1's if any.
