Seing the gamefoundry analysis that the framerate suffered some and the visuals weren't improved (clarity gained not really noticeable). Would you say they care about gamers or marketing?

I'd say that MS cares about both.

Half the internet has spent the last 10 months beating the shit out of the Xbox One (and at times the PS4) for being unable to run intensive games at 1080p as a matter of routine (letalone 60fps).

They are responding to what we demanded of them.

Which goes to show we're our own worst enemy.

I am sorry MS does not care but they are smart enough to know if another high profile game was released and it was 1080 on PS4 and not on XBONE this console war would soon be over.

From what I've read in interviews Phil Spencer doesn't seem to care all that much about 1080p.

Gamers demanded better performace from video games on the Xbox One that it was unable to provide.

What Microsoft should have done is explain that all consoles have limits.

What Microsoft did is demand games focus of one area of visuals at the expense of another more important area such a framerate.
