NES got all the support
SNES got the best support
GameCube got a lot
N64 barley had any
Wii had a lot but most of it was crap
Wii U has not much but its good

NES held a practical monopoly, so it would naturally get most third-party support. Unfortunately, I think the quality suffers as a result.
SNES had a slightly higher standard for quality, but had to compete with Genesis/Mega Drive for devs' attention.
N64 had okay-ish third-party support.
GCN had, well, a lot. Impressive for a Nintendo console, really.
Wii got shovelware.
NWU has nearly nonexistent third-party support after the first year.

Wii had the most 3rd party exclusives.
Gamecube had the best quality support, but not a lot of it.
N64- retro made us all forgot that 3d party mattered
Wii U actually had a good year or so, but the hardware itself was not all desirable which meant they were all ignored.

Obviously NES is the best followed closely by SNES. Wii U is actually decent through 2 years with 2 COD's, 2 AC's, 2 Batmans, ME3, DE, RE:R, Rayman, Zombie U, Darksiders2, Sonic, etc., And Watch_Dogs, Sonic Boom, Project CARS, etc still to come. I would say it beats N64 and edges out Wii on a quality level. Support levels are dropping fast though.

SNES=NES> GameCube>N64>Wiiu> Wii ( 90% of it was shovelware)

Wii U actually isnt the worst in terms of quality ...2 COD, 3 Batman, 2 Assassins Creed, Zombi U, Sonic, Rayman, Tekken, Injustice, Ninja Gaiden, Darksiders, Mass Effect, Deus Ex, Need for Speed, Resident Evil revelations, all recent Lego games, Disney infinty, Skylanders, a ton of Indie. A lot of the listed multiplats have received critical acclaim also. I would rank Wii U above N64 and possibly the Wii in terms of quality of third party titles.
