Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Rank all Nintendo home consoles in terms of 3rd party support.

What is the worst Nintendo console with 3rd party support?

NES 3 1.26%

SNES 12 5.02%

N64 33 13.81%

GC 10 4.18%

Wii 23 9.62%

Wii U 137 57.32%

Yo Mama 21 8.79%

Total:239

3rd parties are a controversial topic when it comes to Nintendo hardware. So let's rank all Nintendo home consoles in history with best to worst 3rd party support and see if we all have similar views. BTW this ranking doesn't have to strictly be about the QUANTITY of 3rd party games that were available, but should also take into account their QUALITY. Here's my list:

1) NES

2) SNES

3) Gamecube

4) Wii

5) N64

6) Wii U

Darn, no change? That's quite amazing to have someone agreeing with what I say in vgchartz. Normally there would be a heated debate about how wrong my opinion is lol.

That sounds pretty right so yea

Even the Jizz agrees. Is this the VGpocalypse? Is this site going down tomorrow? What is going on?

1. NES/SNES (Good support)
2. GameCube (Mediocre support)
3. N64 (Poor support)
4. Wii U (No support)

The Wii was a bit of a wildcard. It did have a lot of third-party support, but not games that were on the 360/PS3.

Hardware owned:

PC, PS4, 3DS, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3

Most anticipated games (near to mid future):

Zelda U/NX
The Last Guardian

Well, your post is right.
NES got all the third party support.

SNES got a lot of it, but it shared a bit with the Genisis.

Gamecube got a lot, just not as much as PS2/Xbox

Wii got game like COD, Just Dance, etc. but it didn't get the Assassin's Creed and a lot of other big stuff.

N64 got little support.

WiiU's currently getting little to zero support (It's sad to see things get this bad).

1. NES (only real option at the time)
2. SNES (Genesis got a lot of games but this was still king)
3. Gamecube (Pretty decent amount of support, it was comparable to the Xbox for a while)

N64 and WiiU were lol-tier.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Loll well it makes sense

NES was pretty much the only viable platform at the time so everyone had to be on it if they wanted to survive and Snes was basically the samething since Sega was loling up their console with nonsense addons. The n64 is where it hit the fan cause Nintendo was being a total dick to everyone cause Sega was a joke by then and they knew it and Playstation seemed the better choice for third parties, speically that 700mb storage space for cds. Then Iwata, I believe talked to third parties and made everything better with the GC so the third parties put some effort into their games and we all know the wii was mostly shoveware up the ass for third parties and the wiiU is just lolz for third parties so yea, I do agree loll
