Your not a hardcore gamer if you dont own a wii u.

Wii u has amazing platformers/ adventure games.

Just playing shooters doesn't make u hardcore.

The article missed the other big part of Wii U owners: kids.

I don't get 3rd party games for my Wii U because I have a PS4, PS3, XB360, PC, etc. But my son and his friends play Wii U more than I do, and their parents (me included) are not buying hardcore action & shooter games for them to play.

i consider pretty much everyone here a hardcore gamer, and since a lot of the user base in VGchartz are Nintendo gamers then... yeah a lot of hardcore gamers have purchased the Wii U already...

Yes, I for one will be picking up a WiiU when SSB and Zelda arrive, nothing that really intrests me apart from Hyrule Warriors but im not getting a WiiU just for one game.

I know what you mean.. luckily I had only one controller so that was out of the question.
