Forums - Gaming Discussion - Sucker Punch hit with layoffs

Maybe their next project is a Vita game

Around the Network

without numbers on how many staff it is hard to say if this means anything or not.

Time for M$ to swoop in for the rescue.

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

Not really surprising since Layoffs hit Sony in general throughout 2014 regardless of success but the question is, who got laid off

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Well infamous first light is finished, its normal time to layoff some ppl who have nothing to do in a earlier devs time for a other new game probably. like a lot of studio

They'll be fine. MS will snap them up.

Isn't this usual? they just finished the DLC and they'll probably start hiring again when their next project gains some traction

Layoffs are never good news. Maybe Infamous didn't sell as well as expected or they had too many employees.

That does suck. If the people they were laying off were temps it wouldn't make headlines most likely.

Could just be part of the dev cycle? With ISS DLC winding down.
