I never expected to enjoy Game&Wario, but thanks to the MK8 deal, I had a blast playing Pictionary during the summer

There aren't really any "bad" main systems anymore. Even the Vita ... there's plenty to enjoy if you're open minded about it.

Wii U is a good system *if* you don't need a several new games every month and are fine with a smaller handful of good games per year, specifically if you like Nintendo IP.

Getting in now while the system has grown through most of its growing pains is a good time too, because you have several good games in the back catalog, several more available now for dirt cheap (ie: Zombi U, Rayman Legends are both $20 in my area) and you're in the midst of new games like Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 just around the corner.

I highly recommend Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. Sounds like it would be right up your alley, considering it's a gorgeous sidescrolling platformer.

It's not too pricey, either, and excellent fun.

I have the Wii game and it was fun, but I never got that far (maybe map 3). So I want to finish that before getting the next one.

I am thinking about Tekken, Deus Ex and Dark Siders II. Those seem interesting.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a great game that sadly hasn't sold much.  I prefer it to Injustice.

Can i ask, what made you want to buy the 3ds and wii u.

For me, the gamepad sold me on the wii u. I did not even look at what games were available on launch. And the price too.

For the 3ds, it was the red edition one. I bought it at the 2nd year it was released. Same as the wii u, i did not even check what games were available. =D

Are you happy with the gamepad though?

Many people aren't yet and i personally don't see why its necessary.

Maybe the amiibos will change that for me!

YES! I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEE IT SOOO MUCH =D

Why?

- The gyroscope! It feels soooo smooth in nintendoland, pikmin 3, lego city.

-Touch screen! It makes browsing through the internet, menus, typing much easier. It also gives the games much more bonus stuff, which you cant find on other consoles ( wii party u, wonderful 101, pikimin 3, etc)

- 5 players! It makes the game much more fun and different by including another player. And like how the 5th player gets a different role. Especially when I bring the console to school.

-Off screen tv play thing. Only some games support this, but its good, if my whole family is sleeping, and I just plugged my earphones into it. Its also reallllllyyyy good when you play wii games too, since it supports it. ( I like how theres a sensor bar attached to it)

And I think thats mostly what I love about it. And of course, without the gamepad, you wont see/draw the wonderfull stuff on mii verse, expecially on art academy.and the size of the gamepad is fine to me =D

I hope you will love it too =D

Pocky Lover Boy!

congratulations welcome to the family!

Switch!!!

I've had a lot of fun with mine. SM3DW is the most "classic" Mario title in some time, and I include the "new" series. It's like SMB3 in 3D but with classic gameplay style. Very fine title. I also got some serious gameplay out of Xenoblade 1 and the two COD's that have released.
