Wow these 2 really are close. I will say that I enjoyed them both VERY much. When it came to multiplats, it was between these 2 consoles that looked the best. The PS2 didn't have the best looking multiplats, but I digress.

I have to say that I enjoyed the GameCube games more. Again, it's really a tough battle between those 2. They were close in sales and in games. (yes I know the OG Xbox sold more than the Gamecube, but only by like 4 mil or so).

For me, the GC had better games than the Xbox and the PS2 put together. Love that console.

The Splinter Cell games and Halo were great on Xbox, though.

Xbox had kotr 1-2 and morrowind.

Sure neither were "exclusive " but neither were on gc either.

Xbox wins for me because i go where the rpgs go and Nintendo started abandoning rpgs on console with gc for most part.

Never owned the original Xbox... but damn... Paper Mario TTYD :)
Gamecube was my favorite console simply for nostalgia, but looking at these lists, both had their noteworthy exclusives.
For me, I'd go GC, but again, never owned the Xbox.

At least you put that in there instead of immediately saying "no contest" or "Xbox has nothing".

I had GC, Xbox and PS2 in the 6th gen and Xbox definitely took up most of my time.

But the original X-Box had zero JRPG's at least the Gamecube had a couple pretty good ones in Skies of Arcadia and Tales of Symphonia.
