Back in May Nintendo announced that they would not release new hardware until current Wii U owners are satisfied, since then E3 has come and gone and we now have a better look at what Nintendo has coming from now til the end of next year. Would it be realistic to say Wii U owners will be satisfied by the end of 2015? Here is the list of exclusives from launch to end of 2015 that we know of now, assuming that none are delayed.

That list covers the majority of major Nintendo titles, Metroid/Animal Crossing/Paper Mario being the only big ones not represented, so could we see Wii U support start to drop after 2015 with a new console in late 2016?

When Nintendo releases a steady stream of big AAA exclusives like a real god damn console.

I don't see a new console announcement till 2017

I am pretty satisfied with what we have gotten this far and with the coming months things are only looking better.

I'm satisfied with my wii u and can't wait to buy xenoblade, zelda u, Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem. But still waiting for some more jrpg and maybe a metroid game by retro studio ( and a new f-zero ? ).

Indeed. come end of the next year(with the games we know about currently),my Wii U library will be over 40 games(physical,not counting what I have digitally).

So good times await.

I just hope Fatal Frame gets localized quickly lol

Whats ur opinion on AAA? it seems like many people have different standards for what that means. If everything goes right Nintendo has a pretty solid list of games coming next year.

Kirby, Yoshi, Splatoon, Mario Maker, Star Fox, Mario Party, Zelda, Devil's Third, Xenoblade and likely a few more, is that a AAA lineup to u or do they have to be mega-budget mulitmillion sellers to be considered that?

So since ur satisfied does that mean ur fine with Nintendo releasing a new console when the currently announced games have released?

Those are basically all Nintendo games- when 3rd parties recognise the console as existing then I might be closer to satisfied. Although WiiU + PC is enough to get all the games I want to play this gen already
