maybe guys should stop obssessing over girl gamers and find a girl who just respects your gaming hobby.
I much prefer that my boyfriend doesnt game as much as I do and isnt as interested in games but is able to respect that I am and can ocasionally enjoy it with me while he'll also share his interests with me.

I've started lurking in 2011/12 so I'm not that familiar with her, but I do see her from time to time here on VGChartz though!

I don't think guys are obsessing over girl gamers. The only girls you are going to find on forums ARE girl gamers.

First of all, there is a difference between "sexy" and "sexist".
Second of all, what is the problem with Samus dressing in similar attire to what a significant amount of women wear when exercising? That is relatively common exercise gear, and it is similar to the typical outfit for Women's MMA...
Third, the problem is not about objectification of women, the idea is the general idealization of both sexes in many regards, and I don't really see that as a problem. Its normal that most characters in every medium are attractive, and sometimes, both men and women are put in situations and outfits which highlight their attractive aspects.

i'd recommend interacting with women live instead of going beserk over seeing some online, it's good to help guys develope social interaction abilities

You know thats scaring for a lot of users.. I have been here for a few years and always try to help other users with their love problems (love those threads).. and only once did d21lewis and i (cause we seem to have a history of getting into situations with women) got a thank you..  http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=172500 its not easy to change suddenly..

still it's unhealthy not having healthy relationships and being able to interact with both genders, like girls who cant get along with girls... those have serious issues. a healthy social life and interactions with other human beings is one of the keys to a happy healthy life... and not creeping out everyone else.

and not doing it exclusively online is VERY important. Join in an activity, sport, hobby, club that exposes you to interaction with people. Go on outings with work coleagues, whatever. Some people should realize that their ineptitude to relate to other human beings is very easy to transpire in their online interactions as well.

They are busy playing their Xbox One while other platform enthusiasts are spending their time talking about bad the Xbox One is :)
