Forums - Gaming Discussion - Does PlayStation 4 need something like the MiiVerse?

I ask this because i actually enjoy visiting the MiiVerse every once in a while to see what some of my fellow Nintendo fans are up to in my favorite communities

The only communities i frequent are the Pkmin 3, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, and Earthbound communities( Obviously because these are the games in my Wii U collection)

I was just hoping that the PS4 had something similar. I would love to see my fellow Playstation gamers thoughts and all that other stuff on specific PS4 games DIRECTLY from the PS4.

I like the thought of their actually being a Parappa The Rapper 3/Medievil 3/Uncharted 4/Ape Escape 4 community based SPECIFICALLY on these select games. I could actually visit the hopeful Parappa The Rapper 3 community and be surrounded by like minded people who like the franchise as much as i do.

One game i really enjoyed on PS3 was Uncharted 2. Not because it was a PS3 exclusive but because it was just a great game that i really enjoyed(in before "but but but Uncharted is SoooOOoo overrated and mediocre" STFU!). If there was a MiiVerse on PS3, I would honestly STILL visit the Uncharted 2 community every now and again to this day!

So does PS4 have anything like the Miiverse

Edit: another thing i like about Miiverse is the fact that the people seem like regular and normal NON-FANBOYISH people.

y can't killzone crawl?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Not in that specific sense.. The closest to it would be in the main menu a news section where you can see the activity of your friend list. So if i were to play a game my list could see that i tried it out for the forst time.. If i rated rated it at the psn store. When i make a purchase. Etc. You can then like their activity and such. That pretty much the only thing akin to miiverse.

As far as I know there is only the activity feed of your friends which displays what they're playing and trophies and stuff.
You can also post messages and pictures there. I don't think there is an option to manage what you're seeing though.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Doesn't need it, though. Miiverse sucks.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Blasphemy. Miiverse is one the best things Nintendo made since... ever?

I like it... but not much. Too many annoying kids for my tastes, but that's subjective. What's good about Miiverse is that you never feel completely alone and you can always ask up a question. Now the quality of posters aren't that great IMO, but that's beside the point.

OT: I don't think so. Seems like it's something only NIntendo does.

Nope, the PS4 is a cold and lonely place, turn around and head back into the light and warmth
