Forums - Gaming Discussion - Study finds that introverts say 'Pokemon' a lot on social media

Most of the introvert stuff applies only to younger people with japanophile tendencies. I'm not sure they measured a broad sample before doing those word clouds.

Well I'm an extrovert, but I say a lot from both sides. My conversations morph from Pokemon to hooking up to anime to parties in a single go. But I'm also self confident, so don't really have an issue talking to my friends about nerdy shit they don't care about.

I don't like how this seems to make introverts out to be more "interesting" than extroverts.

Lol......intro/outroverts? O.O

Look at all that terrible grammar. Extroverts are generally stupid confirmed.

Geez introverts use a lot of emoticons, also I don't even know half of the words that introverts apparently use so often.

naman
akong
lahat
wala
sakit

???

After a bunch of Googling they appear to be Tagalog words which is a native language of the Philippines.

Naman - again expression of gentle protest or denial; also; rather; really; too; likewise; //"Wala akong sakit" is far different than "Wala naman akong sakit." The reason is simple. The first is a mere declaration, the second is a declaration with implications.
Akong - I; me; I the; me to; me the; even me; me a; I be; am; I am; have; //"Ako" means 'I'; "ng" is affixed to imply the next word is related to "ako."
Lahat - all; altogether; collective; entire ; every; everyone; everything; general; public; total; whole;
Wala - absence; absent; gone; lack; lost; negation; no; none; not any; nothing; zero;
Sakit - abnegation; ache; agony; disease; feeling of pain; illness; pain; physical suffering; sick; sickness; to ache;

As someone from the Philippines, I believe that the meaning I highlighted are technically what the people who say them mean.

I'm also really surprised that there are a lot of Filipino introverts on social media.

Extroverts: soo sooo soooo sooooo

Add me on Xbox Live: TopCat8

The "extrovert" cloud reminds me of what dudebros would say while playing CoD.

Introverts just love their electronic entertainment more. It's not better or worse, just different.
