eh? No limit on how many times? Then why bother limiting it to only 60 mins?

maybe there's a certain amount of time before you can start a new session?

I'm still struggling to find the real catch here.

60 min per session is a little annoying but definitely more than managable if you can start as many sessions a day as you want. Having to stream it is not ideal, but what the heck, it's free so why complain? You'll probably will only be able to use it, if your friend isn't playing on his system or if you're playing a multiplayer game together, but I guess that was to be expected.

All in all it sounds like a pretty awesome feature.

Thats exactly how this all sounds like to me. Only problem is, since its streamed, internet is gona need to be top notch.

u kdding.

so you dont let your friend play all your games free.

Unelss u want to sit there for a day logging them in every 60 minutes.

Well since it is for like co-op stuff only you would need to have your PS4 on all day for your friend to play the game anyway.

It's not for co-op only. You can take over his controller

such an amazing feature..

...means all those indie's that can't support native online co-op now have online co-op exclusively on ps4. half the games ever released are now "better on ps4". hell, if it works well i wouldn't be surprised to see some developers just drop online co-op entirely and let ps4 to take care of that for them.

This is a pretty sweet feature. It might actually be enough to get my friend to buy a PS4.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

God, I hope not.

Why would you need to download then game each time you want to play a friends game? It keeps saves, surely it can also keep the game downloaded.

Nice idea, can't see it having any sort of impact though. Something people will talk about way way more than they actually use.

i don't think we need to download the game, i think it is using PlayStationNow feature...

i.e. it use streaming feature to view your friend playing, taking over his game will use the same streaming command you have input on your control and sent back to his game...

this feature might need the same PlayStationNow requirement which is both user's internet speed at least must be 5mbps, and it will have a little input lag same as playing PlayStationNow games...

You know what, that's such a simple observation but one that just hasn't crossed my mind. You're completely right!

How is taking turns on the controller coop?

You do know that if you shareplay only the remoteuser can play?
